Nottinghill Rd, Berala

A stunning brand new house in West Sydney needed its common areas furnished and decorated, for a young family of five.

(2024)

The house was originally white, and the clients requested that we work with this foundation.

Drawing inspiration from Californian mid-century homes, we blended this style with elements of Japandi aesthetics, introducing a subtle color palette that transforms the white walls into a canvas for a 3D watercolor painting.

We selected two stunning art pieces by Australian artists Karen Lee Mungarrja (for the foyer) and Amica Aindow (for the living room), complemented by thoughtfully chosen Australian-designed lamps from Articolo Lighting and Ross Gardam.

“Jose transformed our empty new house into a cozy and incredibly beautiful place, that we’re happy to call home. The project involved designing custom-made cabinetry, furniture, appliances, lighting, and even curating art pieces. He is a great interior designer, and we recommend his work to anyone.”
